DOTHAN. . .Mark Thomas Flockhart, a resident of Dothan, died Sunday night, October 25, 2015, in a Dothan hospital. He was 67.


            Graveside Masonic Rites will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 29, 2015, in Gardens of Memory, between Headland and Dothan. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.


            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.


            Mr. Flockhart was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and lived in the Miami area before moving to Dothan. He was retired from Amoco Oil Company and previously retired from Belcher Oil Company both as a Shipmaster. Mr. Flockhart was a member of the Dothan Masonic Lodge No. 466. He was preceded in death by his mother, Fran Abbott Trusty, and his wife, Pauline Flockhart.


            Surviving relatives include three daughters, Debbie Rowan (Ed), St. Louis, MO;  Sandy Noblitt (Danny), Columbia, and Kim Kosterno (David), Clermont, FL; his father, Mark Flockhart (Doris), Yorktown, VA; a brother, Charles Edward Flockhart (Sally), Del Rio, TN; six grandchildren, Leigh Ann Parker (Jeff), Mark Noblitt, John Rowan, Tom Rowan, Paul Noblitt (Kendra), and Chloe Kosterno; three great-grandchildren, Jack Parker, Ayden Noblitt and Cameron Noblitt; a sister-in-law, Patsy Sanchez, Midland City; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Madeline Bidwell.
