Marlene Alice Prevette, age 81, of Hartford, AL, passed away, Friday, September 27, 2013 in Southeast Alabama Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Geneva on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Nathan Carroll officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Geneva Building Fund, 309 S. Commerce Street, Geneva, AL 36340 or to the Azle Animal Shelter Humane Association, 724 Park Drive, Azle, TX 76098.

Ms. Prevette was preceded in death by her brother, Lauren Manaton and by her daughter-in-law, Kaye Prevette.

Survivors include a daughter, Vanessa Folsom (Al) Geneva, AL; a son, Tad Prevette, Azle, TX; three grandchildren, T J Prevette (Sarah) Wichita Falls, TX; Julia Folsom; George Folsom, both of Geneva, AL.
