Marsha Ann Baker, 61, passed away on Sunday September 4, 2016 at her residence after a long battle with diabetes.


A memorial service will be held at 5pm on Thursday, September 8, 2016 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Byrd directing. Flowers are being accepted or memorial contributions may made to www.gofundme.com/2ndtkdw.


Marsha was born October 27, 1954 in Houston County and she lived in Dothan all of her life. She was a 1973 graduate of Dothan High School and later received her Cosmetology Degree for Wallace Community College. Marsha worked as a beautician for several years and later was employed in retail management in the apparel industry until she retired.


Survivors include her daughters, Heather (Ray) Harper, Holly Baker and Haley (Waylon) Welk; her grandchildren, Tyriek Grace, Trevyn Grace, Conner Welk, and Collier Welk; her aunts and uncle, Mary Marshall and Joan and Joe Kendell; her cousin, Colbert Marshall.
