Mary A. Black

 

Mary A. Black, formerly of Brooklyn, New York, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 at Covenant Care Center at Bay Medical Center in Panama City. She was 93.

 

Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street with Rev. Patrick Gallagher officiating and Byrd Funeral Home on West Main Street directing.

 

Mrs. Black was born June 19, 1919 in Brooklyn, New York . She was a resident of Florida for the past several years. She was truly an angel and gave without question, never expecting anything in return. She was truly one of God’s best creations.

 

Mrs. Black was of the Catholic faith and was an avid churchgoer.

 

Survivors include her son, Alfred V. Black of Brooklyn, NY; four grandchildren, Robert P. Black of Brooklyn, NY, Jason Black of PA, Vincent James Black of Brooklyn, NY, Madison Makayla Black of Brooklyn, NY; one brother, Nicholus Russo of Florida.
