Mrs. Mary Annetta Blunt Anderson of Abbeville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015.  She was 73.

Memorialization will be by cremation with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Geneva in charge.

Mrs. Anderson was born November 2, 1941, in Canton, Ohio to the late William Harold and Mary Henrietta Shafer Blunt. She loved children and during her working career was employed at a day care.  She was an animal lover and her cat Sheba was very dear to her heart.

In addition to her parents her husband, Jessie David Anderson, and one daughter, Peggy Anderson, preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Wayne Anderson of Dothan, AL; two daughters: Mary (Joe) Langner of Level Plains, AL and Diane (David) Weikert of Columbus, GA; one sister, Grace Smith of Easley, SC; one brother, Bill (Reggie) Blunt of CA; eight grandchildren; a number of special great-grandchildren; special caregiver, Joyce White of Bonifay, FL; other extended family.

The family would like to thank Covenant Hospice for the love and care that was given to their mother.
