Mary Clark Hutto

 

Mary Clark Hutto, a resident of Dothan, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Wesley Manor. She was 87.

Graveside services will be held 11:30 Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Dr. Paul Thompson officiating and Byrd Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2740 Headland Ave., Dothan, AL, 36303.

Mrs. Hutto was born February 18, 1927 in Eufaula, AL and lived the early years of her life in Henry County. Upon her marriage to Henry Hutto they moved to Dothan where she lived for over 60 years. She was employed as a private duty nurse and also as an ER nurse at Southeast Alabama Medical Center for 25 years. After her retirement in 1986, she and her husband enjoyed traveling to the mountains in NC. Mrs. Hutto was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hutto is predeceased by her husband, Henry Hutto who died 2001.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra H. Faria of Dothan; a sister, Margaret Lisenby of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; a half-sister, Sybil White of Abbeville; many nieces and nephews.
