            Mary Darlene Stinson of Enterprise, AL passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the family residence.  She was 58.


             Funeral services will be at 2 pm Wednesday, February 27, 2013 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Rev. Cliff Quincey and Rev. Mark Ward officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 until 8 pm.  Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the New Home Baptist Church Building Fund. 


            Mrs. Stinson was born January 19, 1955 in Kissimmee, FL to the late Willie Mancel and Dixie Ann Dowd Skipper.  She earned her LPN degree at McArthur State Technical College and enjoyed a nursing career for over 30 years, having worked at Enterprise Health and Rehab and the Elba Nursing Home.  She was a member of New Home Baptist Church. 


            Survivors include her husband, Billy Stinson of Enterprise; 2 daughters: Angela Harlee of Sebring, FL, Kari Snider (Travis) of Brighton, TN; 3 sons: Rex Skipper (Cathy), Heath Skipper (Katha), Eric Stinson (Leia), all of Enterprise; 1 sister, Mary Ann McCormick (Earl) and 1 brother, Willie Earl Skipper, all of Opp, AL; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and other relatives.


            The family would like to extend their thank you to Gentiva Hospice and her nurse, Leah, for their love and care.
