Mary Hutchison Corneil, age 86, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Tonya L. Elmore officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until service time.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the First United Methodist Church Building or Scholarship Funds, 217 South Main Street, Enterprise, AL 36330.

Mary was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church and the Edna Guice Sunday School class.  She was a charter member of the Luncheon Pilot Club of Enterprise, AL, which honored her with a lifetime membership and member emeritus award.  She retired from Alabama Power Company after twenty-six years of service.

Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Wallace Wood, daughter, Dianne Jones and her husbands, Vance Hutchison and Major (Ret) Marion Corneil.                                 

Survivors include two grandchildren, Laurel Greene (Patrick) Spartanburg, SC; Rev. Chris Jones (Joan) Jonesboro, AR; four great-grandchildren, Phillip and Mary Margaret Greene, Spartanburg, SC; Sarah Dianne and Catherine Jones, Jonesboro, AR; a stepson, Vance Hutchison, Jr. Houston, TX; niece, Peggy Campbell, Greenville, AL.

The family would like to thank the staff of First United Methodist Church,  her friends, Jane King, Gladys Streyer, Hazel Carmichael, Linda Ellis-Bolton and Sherry Johnson of Gentiva Hospice for their loving care of our grandmother.
