Mary Jim Andress Cassady, 91, of Carolina House, Reidsville, North Carolina died on October 17, 2013.

A graveside memorial service to celebrate her life will be held in Dothan, Alabama on October 19, 2013 at 4:00 p.m.

 

Mrs. Cassady was born in Madrid, Alabama on January 26, 1922.  She was the daughter of the late

 Dr. and Mrs. David Gustavus Andress.  Along with her parents, Mrs. Cassady was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Cassady; two sisters, Gustavus Blackwell and Elizabeth Thompson; and a brother, John Isaac Andress.

Mrs. Cassady is survived by her son, Jeff Cassady and wife, Kash of Reidsville, NC;  her daughter, Janie  Casey and husband, Dan of Tucker, Georgia;  three grandsons, Billy Cassady and wife, Kara;  Jimmy Cassady;  Jack Cassady and wife Raegan; and a sister, Elva Ward.

The family wishes to thank all of the wonderful and caring folks at Carolina House for the tender loving care  for Mary Jim while she was a resident with them.

Ward Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements in Dothan.
