Mrs. Mary Katherine Lindsey Hartzog, age 87, of Crawfordville, FL and formerly of Dothan, passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 in Crawfordville.

Born March 22, 1927 in Troy, Alabama to the late Arch and Beulah Lee Knotts Lindsey, Mrs. Hartzog was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved her family, sewing, cooking, and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Hartzog; her three sisters; and her Boston Terrier, Trouble.

Survivors include her daughter, Jean (William) Hartzog; her son, Michael Hartzog; her brother, William H. (Linda) Lindsey; five grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 9:00 AM CST Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Brother William T. Sims officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
