 Mary Louise Ayers, age 84 of Enterprise, and formerly of Geneva, passed away on April 28, 2014.


Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.   The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m.


Mrs. Ayers was born December 12, 1929, in Geneva County to the late L.D. and Jesse Mae Hughes.  She retired from Phillips-Van Heusen in Geneva after twenty-five years. 


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Hubert Ayers, brother J. D. Hughes, three sisters Esie Hughes, Mary Alice Griffis, WIllie Mae Dotson.


She is survived by four daughters: Jo Ann (Dwight) Turner, Wichita, KS, Betty Ayers, Troy, AL, Mary (Neil) Spier, Troy. AL, Frances Ryals, Enterprise, AL; eight grandchildren, Katherine (Kevin) Davis, Melinda Conner (Lloyd), Troy, AL, Jeff Turner, Wichita, KS, Ben(Leslie) Ryals, Enterprise, AL, Jason (Lydia) Senn, Loxley, AL,  Phillip Ryals, Enterprise, AL, Lisa (Terry) Ryals  Raby, Taylorsville, NC,  Travis(Heather) Vines;  five great-grandchildren Ryals Senn, Isaac Senn, Lilliana Ryals ; Chris and Zack Vines;  2 brothers William Lee Hughes, Middleburg, FL; James (Linda) Hughes, Claxton, GA;  sister-in-law Evelyn Gilley Hughes, Baldwin, FL.; numerous nieces and nephews and a special caregiver, Jennifer Truckey.
