COWARTS. . .Mathew Hunter LeSuer, a resident of Cowarts, died Friday morning, February 20, 2015, in the UAB Hospital in Birmingham of injuries  sustained while at work. He was 79.

          Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 23, 2015, in the Watermark Church, Ashford, with Reverend Todd Thorpe officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M Monday in the church sanctuary.  

          In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wiregrass Humane Society, 255 Jerry Drive, Dothan, AL 36303.

          Mr. LeSuer was born in Augusta, GA and moved with his family to Panama City, Florida as a child. He was a graduate of Bay High School and attended the University of Florida. Mr. LeSuer was member of Watermark Church. He was employed by Spurlock Recycling in Troy. Mr. LeSuer was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Presley LeSuer and Mary Barrett LeSuer, a son, Richard Alan LeSuer, and two brothers.

          Surviving relatives include his wife, Stephanie Martin LeSuer, Cowarts; a daughter, Diane Joy Reid, Panama City; a sister, Maryjo White (Joseph), Cowarts; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
