            Mrs. Mavis Louise Bradley Jackson, formerly of Samson and Coffee Springs, AL, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 8, 2013 in Huntsville, AL.  She was 90.


 


            Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 10, 2013 in the Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Donald Lolley officiating and William G. “Glen” Sanders providing the eulogy.  Burial will follow in the Asbury cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 2:00 pm and will continue until service time.  Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Asbury Cemetery Fund, 5878 County Road 636, Chancellor, AL 36316.


 


            Mrs. Jackson was born October 2, 1922 in Coffee County to the late Will and Nancy Anderson Bradley.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanford E. Jackson; 3 brothers, Max Bradley, William “Bill” Bradley and Duene Bradley.


 


            Survivors include her children: Barbara Jackson Sanders (Glen), Huntsville, AL, Huey E. Jackson, Sr. (Libby), Enterprise, AL, Bobby R. Jackson, New Brockton, AL, Billy L. Jackson (Kathy), Abbeville, AL, Stan Jackson, West Bay, FL; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 niece and 3 nephews.
