Max H. Watkins, Sr. of Enterprise, AL passed away, Thursday, March 21, 2013 at his home.  He was 91.

      Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 23, 2013 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Rob West officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday.

      Mr. Watkins was preceded in death by his wife, Lavania H. Watkins, daughter, Priscilla Watkins, parents, Ples Anderson Watkins and Estelle Grimsley Watkins, two brothers, Rhett Watkins and Rex Watkins.

      Survivors include his daughter, Gwen W. Kline (Jimmy) Eufaula, AL; son, Max H. Watkins, Jr. (Mireya) New Brockton, AL; brother, Billy Paul Watkins (Mary) Enterprise, AL; special friend, Ann Kelsoe, Enterprise, AL; grandchildren, Deanna Schmid (Michael) Eufaula; Lindsey Chavedo (Jeremy)  Eufaula, AL; Hollis Watkins, Mobile, AL; step-grandson, Eric Rodriquez and family; great-grandchildren, Dylan Schmid; Lily Chavedo; Ella Chavedo, all of Eufaula; nieces, Harriet Giles (Bill) Auburn, AL; Paula Watkins (Rusty) Pensacola, FL; aunt, Ruth Watkins.
