Max Warren Weeks, age 79, of Enterprise, AL, went fishing with Jesus, Sunday, December 4, 2016 at his home.


Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Bobby Weeks and Rev. Cliff McWhorther officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday beginning at 12:00 P.M.  Memorials may be made to New Brockton High School A Club/baseball program, 210 South Tyler St., New Brockton, AL 36351, Covenant Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Road, Dothan, AL 36303 or Center Ridge United Methodist Church, 8777 N. County Road 651, Coffee Springs, AL 36318.


Max coached youth baseball in Coffee Springs, Ozark and Geneva from Little League to Dixie Majors.  His teams won championships in all division.  He loved Auburn football and fishing.


Max was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Weeks and Regina Spears Weeks, a sister, Mildred Waters.


Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Serena McKinnon Weeks, Enterprise; son, Warren Weeks, Enterprise; daughter, Laura Motes, Level Plains; son, Stan Weeks (Jenifer) Enterprise; six grandchildren, Dillion Motes; Dustin Motes; Max Weeks; Russell Weeks, Charlie Weeks; Jenna Kate Weeks; two sisters, Polly Longnecker, Atlanta, GA; Linda King (Tracy) MS.
