Mazie Lee Donnell Bell, of Ozark, Alabama was born March 17, 1945 to the late John and Lonnie Mae Harper Donnell. She made her heavenly transition on July 30, 2016. She was 71. Mazie was married to the love of her life, the late James E. Bell. They were united in holy matrimony in April of 1967.



Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 6, 2016, in the St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Ozark. Burial will follow in Union Grove A.M.E. Church Cemetery near Ozark. The family visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Friday at Newman Mortuary, 114 Harper Drive, Ozark. 



Mazie was a faithful member of Friendship A.M.E. Church, where she attended until her death. She was a loyal member of the Choir an Missionary Board. Mazie’s heart was her daughter and grandchildren.



She leaves to cherish her daughter Beverly (Johnny) Barber of Ozark; Grandsons, Marcus Bell, Byron Bell, Jauntavious Bell; Granddaugher, Macy Barber; One sister, Louise Byrd of Ozark, AL. Sisters-in-law, Ila Chambers, Dovie Chambers, Annie Jean Bell, Nell Bell, Ruby Bell, Minnie Bell; Brothers-in-law, Gene Bell, Charles Bell, and William Bell; Two step-children, Jeffery Terris, Bartow, FL and Sebrena Randolph (Earl), Tallahassee, FL; Step-grandchildren: Tamirra (Dwight) Hutchinson, Natasha Terris, Jeffrey Terris, Kiaya Randolp, Maleah Randolph, Marquie Bryant, and Javon Barber, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.



Mazie will be remembered for the joy, hope, and generosity she gave to her family.
