Michael Harrell “Mike” Andrews, a lifetime resident of Ozark, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Flowers Hospital. He was 60.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2016 at Rocky Head Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Weed and the Rev. Joe Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7 on Thursday.

Mike was born December 12, 1955 in Dale County and was a 1974 graduate of Ariton High School. He was employed as an electrician most all of his working career. He enjoyed working on farm equipment and had a passion for helping others. Mike was a member of Rocky Head Baptist Church.

Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to the Gideon’s.

Mike is predeceased by his father, Samuel J. Andrews and his grandparents.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Lynn P. Andrews; two children, Krysten Andrews and Ashlee Andrews, all of Ozark, his mother, Margaret Andrews of Ozark; his brother, Mark Andrews (Keri), of Brantley; several nieces and nephews; and his special pets.
