Michael Wade Robertson of Opp passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at UAB Hospital.  He was 50.

Memorialization will be by cremation, and no services are scheduled at this time.

Michael was born July 6, 1965, in Montour Falls, New York.  He served five years in the Red Horse Unit of the United States Air Force.  More recently, he was the maintenance director at Elba Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Survivors include his loving wife, Monica Robertson of Opp; one daughter, Jennifer Torres (Jamie) of Syracuse, NY; two step-children: Victoria Hamrac (Blake) of Andalusia and A.J. Barnes of Daleville; his mother, Alverna Sample of Opp; his father, Gary Robertson (Betty) of Burdett, NY; and four grandchildren.
