Mrs. Mildred L. Petersen passed away Monday, April 4, 2016 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan. She was 85.

Funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016 at the St. John Catholic Church in Enterprise with Father Gregory Okorobia officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Petersen was born October 16, 1930 in Dixon, Missouri to the late Raymond and Emma Rhea Carr. In addition to her parents, her husband Raymond Petersen, two sisters, and one brother  preceded her in death.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Wiregrass Emergency Pregnancy Care Center (WEPS), 557 Glover Ave. Colony Square, Enterprise, Alabama 36330.

Survivors include one son, R. Dennis Petersen (Thassanee), Lithia, FL; two daughters, Debra Morgan, Diane Doyle (Mark), both of Enterprise, AL; one brother, Raymond Carr (Kathy); one sister, Wanda Collett (Dick), both of Ottumwa, IO; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
