Mrs. Millie Voncile Hartzog Rogers, age 67, a resident of Dothan died Friday May 24, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness.


 


Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 27, 2013 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Coley Holloway officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery in Clayhatchee with Kendall Glover of Glover Funeral Home directing.


 


The family will be receiving friends at Glover Funeral Home on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Flowers will be accepted.


 


Mrs. Rogers was born on May 9, 1946 in Midland City the daughter of Dan and Lucille Barefoot Hartzog.  She lived most of her lifetime in Houston County and worked as a clerk in various convenience stores. 


 


She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Helen Miller; Jean Johnson; two brothers, Henry and Bo Hartzog.


 


Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Mark Williams, Dothan; son, Don Hollis, Jr., Dothan; Sister, Agnes Smith (Norval), Geneva County; brother, William Hartzog (Martha), Perry, FL.; five grandchildren, James Williams, Jr., Lisa Nicole Williams, Tommy Curtis Williams, Amanda Nicole Hollis, and Hunter Hollis.


 


Pallbearers will be: James Williams, Jr., Doug Lott, David Earl Smith, Josh McNeal, Kenny Hill, and Michael Franklin.


 


Glover Funeral Home of Dothan is in charge of the arrangements.
