Minnie Lou Cable of Samson passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014.  She was 91.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2014 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Samson with Rev. Jimmy Eddins officiating.  Burial will follow at Shady Grove Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral services.

Mrs. Cable was born in Geneva County on September 7, 1922 to the late John Lemon Lolley and Lula Mae Ammons Lolley.  Prior to her retirement, she was a cook for many yeas at various local restaurants.  Mrs. Cable was a longtime member at the Samson Senior Citizens Center.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Cable and six of her siblings.

She is survived by her sister, Annie Mae Kennington (Roy) of Samson and numerous nieces and nephews.
