We regret to announce the passing of Miss Pauline Deese, age 63 of Colquitt, GA who passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Miller County Hospital in Colquitt, GA.
Funeral services for Miss Deese will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Hammock Springs Free Will Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Smith and Rev. Josh Rathel officiating. Interment will follow in Oakview Church of God Cemetery with Greg McMillan, Bobby Dukes, Ashley McMillan, Ronnie Dukes, Jeffery Grice, and Andy Dukes serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Hammock Springs Free Will Baptist Church.
Miss Deese was born in Donalsonville, GA July 20, 1949 to Robert Deese and Essie Mae Cunningham Deese. Miss Deese was a member of Hammock Springs Free Will Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Essie Mae Deese of Donalsonville, GA; her brothers, Roy Deese and his wife Sharon of Dothan, AL, Roger Deese and his wife Peggy of Midland City, AL, Ricky Deese and his wife Angie of Colquitt, GA; her sisters, Jean Dukes and her husband Roy of Donalsonville, GA, and Shirley McMillan of Donalsonville, GA. She is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews; twenty-one great nieces and nephews; one great-great niece and one great-great nephew.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Deese; and a brother-in-law, Philip McMillan.
Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
