Mr. Mitchell “Dale” Peters of Alexander City, Alabama passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016. He was 46.

A Celebration of life service will be at 1:00pm Thursday, January 14, 2016 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Kenneth Lassiter officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 12:00 pm and continuing until service time.

Dale was born July 15, 1969 in Dothan, Alabama to Daniel Rex and Janice M. Todd Peters. He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Peters; a son, Joshua Slade Peters; two step-sons Sean Godwin (Deborah); Jason Godwin (Katrinia); his mother, Janice Dannelley (Alan); two brothers, Dana Peters, Derek Peters; one step-sister, Stacey Reeves; five grandchildren, Dylan, Gage, Peyton, Christopher, Aubrey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
