Mr. Alfred Arthur Heinrich, Sr. of Cottonwood passed way Friday, April 24, 2015 at his residence. He was 82.


 


Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, April 27, 2015 at Calvary Baptist Church in Cottonwood with Reverend Karl Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in Cottonwood City Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


 


The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 P.M. Sunday, April 26, 2015. Flowers will be accepted.


 


Mr. Heinrich was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cottonwood. He served our country for 20 years in the U.S. Military with 2 tours in Vietnam. Following retirement from the military, he then worked for the Houston County Road and Bridge for a number of years.


 


He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Leona Heinrich, and a daughter Lenora Heinrich.


 


Survivors include his wife Elizabeth Merritt Heinrich of Cottonwood; daughters Carol Radke (Joe) of College Station, TX; Debbie Sherman of Pasadena, TX; Barb Keck (David) of Houston, TX; sons AL Heinrich, Jr. (Ramila) of Custer, SD; Billy Heinrich of Talladega, AL; Eddie Heinrcih (Margaret) of Cottonwood; sister Gladys Schilhab (Wayne) of Channelview, TX; brothers Lawrince Heinrich (Bernice) of LaGrange, GA; J.C. Heinrich (Cathey) of Center, TX; Fred Heinrich (Sharon) of Pittsburg, TX; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.


 


Honorary pallbearers will be the Employees and former Employees of the Houston County Road and Bridge.
