Barry Dwight Grier, 45, of Cottonwood, AL, died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2014 in Clearman Chapel of Southern Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Gibson officiating and Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing.The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2014 at the funeral home prior to the services.

 

Born in Lee County, Alabama, Barry was a son of George Gamble Grier and Shirley Hays Guess. He owned and operated Triple C Tree Service, doing commercial and residential tree cutting.

 

He is survived by his wife, Heather Alexander Grier; two daughters, Hayley Marie Maddox and Caroline Gabriel Grier; a brother, Benjiman Morris Grier; a sister, Brenda Gail Tatum
