Mr. Benny Ray White, age 75, a resident of Ashford (formerly of Cadiz, Ky.) died Monday October 26, 2015 at the SAMC following a brief illness.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday October 29, 2015 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ben Valenti officiating and Kendall Glover directing.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 1:15 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Thursday prior to services.  Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3054 McGehee Road, Montgomery, Al. 36111.

Mr. White was born on December 18, 1939 in Franklin, Kentucky the son of Alma King White and Louise Finn White.  He and his wife moved to Ashford from Cadiz, Kentucky 5 years ago.  Mr. White formerly owned the Parkview Cottages in Cadiz, Kentucky and has worked the past 5 years as a bike assembler at the Northside Walmart in Dothan.  He loved horseback riding and the University of Georgia Football. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: wife of 15 years, Anita Johnson White, Ashford; 2 daughters, Kathy White Brogli (Herbert), Summerset, Ky.; Samantha Jo Burgess (Josh), Enterprise; 1 son, Michael Ray White, Woodburn, Ky.; 4 sisters, Phyllis York White, Savannah, Ga.; Peggy White Groves, Franklin, Ky.; Wanda Wilkerson, Glasgow, Ky.; Joyce Noffsinger, Lebanon, Tn.; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
