Billy Roice Morris, III, a resident of Dothan, died Friday, December 25, 2015 at his residence. He was 37.

Funeral services for Billy will be held at 2 PM Monday, December 28, 2015 at Christ Church International, 3500 S. Oates Street, Dothan, AL 36301 with Pastor David DelVecchio and Reverend Sam Totten officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 PM until 6 PM Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park cemetery with Southern Heritage directing. Flowers will be accepted.

Billy was born in Dothan on November 28, 1978 to the late Billy Royce and Sonya McMurtry Morris. He was raised in Malvern and was a 1998 graduate of Slocomb High School. Billy owned and operated Morris Pallet Company and was a former youth pastor and minister of music at Pathway Baptist Church. He loved Alabama Crimson Tide football and was an avid fan.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.

Survivors include his wife, Alicia Morris; two brothers, Philip Morris (Cara), Joshua “Big Dummy” Morris (Marah), nieces and nephews, Lincoln Royce,  Harper Gray and Pierce Alan Morris, Katie, Jared and Caleb Simmons; sister in law, Bridgette Simmons (Eric); mother in law, Remona Lucas (Edward); father in law, John Dukes; grandparents, William Goodloe (Vi); several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
