Mr. Regale “Buddy” Evans of Darlington, FL passed away April 25, 2013.  He was 81.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2013 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Terry Smith and Rev. Ron Thames officiating.  Burial will follow in Limestone Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

 Mr. Evans was born in Florala, AL on March 13, 1932.  He served in the US Army during the Korean War.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Lila Evans; mother, Mildred Evans; and brother, Billy Gene Weeks.

 He is survived by two daughters, Mildred Evans of Geneva and Rita Smith (Ronnie) of Darlington, FL; four grandchildren, Joshua Smith of Darlington, Ashley Huguley (Gavin) of Coffee Springs, Chelsea Saunders and Megan Saunders, both of Geneva; two great grandchildren, Greyson and Lila Huguley, both of Coffee Springs and sister, Irene Prescott (Clifton) of Florala.
