Mr. Charles Alexander Martin, age 73, of Dothan, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014.

 

Born January 16, 1941 in Dothan to the late Ijester Sylvester and Eunice Graves Martin, Mr. Martin was a member of Memphis Baptist Church. Retired from Perdue Farms as a supervisor, Mr. Martin was an avid fisherman who also loved to camp and to bowl.

 

He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Martin; his daughters, Mary Jean Price and Anita Carol (Tripp) Brooks; his son, Timothy Scott (Janis) Martin; a brother, Henry (Kathy) Martin; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, December 1, 2014 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Tate and Reverend Rick Glenn officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 9 AM until service time Monday, December 1, 2014 at the funeral home.

 

The family will be accepting flowers.
