Charles Edison “Eddie” Booth, 66, of Cottonwood, Alabama, died early Wednesday, April 01, 2015, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.


 


Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 in Clearman Chapel of Southern Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend James Nance and speakers Eddie Sorrells and Dink Wilkins officiating and Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the funeral home and at other times will be at the family residence.


 


Born in Bonifay, Florida, Eddie was a son of Eleanor Sue Woodham “Momma Sue” and the late Samuel Edison “Honey” Booth. He worked as an electrician at the Farley Nuclear Plant and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Booth was a member of Mt. Enon Baptist Church.


 


Surviving are his wife, Cindy Cooper Booth, Cottonwood, Alabama; two sons and daughters-in-law, Adam (Regina) Booth, Rehobeth, Alabama, and Aaron (Tanya) Scott, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two daughters and sons-in-law, April Booth (Jason) Shiver, Dothan, Alabama, and Rhonda Bass (Paul), Cottonwood, Alabama; a brother, Kenny Booth, Mobile, Alabama; nine grandchildren, Tyler & Jase Booth, Kim, Megan and Ryane Scott, Hannah and Jacob Shiver, Haley Bass, Marshall Scott- Kellie; two great grandchildren, Bailey and Olivia Ethridge.
