Mr. Charles Lamar Watson of Dothan passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2014 at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 76.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Billy Gant officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Thursday, August 28, 2014 one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Wiregrass Shrine Club.

Mr. Watson worked at Ft. Rucker for 27 years, AMX for 10 years and a driver for Carquest for over 4 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents Willie E. Watson and Leathie Mae Skelton Watson.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years Dottie Watson of Dothan; brothers, Raymond Earl Watson and his wife Amy of Mobile; Joseph Franklin Watson and his wife Betty of Mobile; and numerous nieces and nephews.
