Charlie David Tatum, a resident of Ozark, died Sunday, June 19, 2016 at his residence. He was 57.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Tatum will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Faith Baptist Church in Cowarts with Rev. Scotty Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church.

 

Mr. Tatum was born August 18, 1958 in Mayo, Florida to Shairon O. and Melvie Shirah Tatum. He retired from Twitchell as a machine operator and later worked for DSI Security. He was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan and loved cheering for the Tide.

 

Survivors include three sons, Anthony and Kim Tatum, Ozark, Shaun Tatum, Cowarts and David and Maggie Tatum, Birmingham; four grandchildren, Owen, Tiffany, Dillan and Tara; brothers, Robert and Virginia Tatum, Earl Tatum; sister, Bessie and Larry Williams.
