Mr. Clifford Heath of County Road 625, Coffee Springs, Alabama passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013.  He was 92.


Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013, in the Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Raymond Holt, Rev. Elmer Ellis and Sister Amy Parrish officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continue until service time.


Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Cemetery Fund c/o Elton Parrish.


Mr. Heath was born December 5, 1920, in Coffee County to the late James A. and Ada Bell McIntosh Heath. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during WWII, which included tours in the Philippines and Australia.  Mr. Heath and his family were one of the first commercial poultry farming families in the area.  He loved animals, especially dogs. He was of the Assembly of God Faith.


In addition to his parents three brothers, Dan, Horace and B.J. Heath, preceded him in death.


Survivors include one brother, Ewell “Jack” Heath; two sisters: Essie Mae Mock and Willie Mae Mock, all of Coffee Springs; several special nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
