Mr. Daniel Ray Dickinson, age 57, a resident of Dothan, died Friday July 15, 2016 at the SAMC after a brief illness.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday July 20, 2016 at the Vaughn Blumberg Gym.  The body may be viewed from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Glover Funeral Home parlor.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Vaughn Blumberg Center, 2715 Flynn Road, Dothan, AL. 36303.

Burial will be Thursday July 21, 2016 at the Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens in Ocala, Florida with Glover Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Dickinson was born on March 14, 1959 in Wimpole Park, England the son of Hubert Clair Dickinson and Elizabeth Jeanette Hickman Dickinson.  He was a resident of the Vaughn Blumberg Center and was a member of the Bluff Springs Baptist Church in Ashford.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include: mother, Jeanette Hickman Dickinson, Clanton; 2 brothers, Edward L. Dickinson, Columbiana; Larry Dickinson, Tacoma, WA.; uncle and guardian, Bill Hickman, Ashford and several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
