Mr. Dannie Lee Gaskin, age 67, a resident of Midland City, died Monday August 3, 2015 at the SAMC after an extended illness.

 Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday August 7, 2015 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chuck Spivey officiating and Kendall Glover directing.  At other times the family will be receiving friends at the home of a daughter, Tammy Hernandez, 3785 Co. Rd. 73, Midland City, Al. 36350.

 Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the family.

 Mr. Gaskin was born on December 18, 1947 in Dale County the son of David Calvin Gaskin and Lollie Cendi Quattlebaum Gaskin.  He was a long haul truck driver for most of his adult lifetime,  he was working with Swift Transportation prior to becoming disabled.  Mr. Gaskin had lived in the Dothan and Midland City area most of his life.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Debbie Gaskin; 3 brothers, David Calvin Gaskin, Franklin Jerome Gaskin, Joseph Tulley Watson; 1 sister, Sheila Ann Watson.

 Survivors include: 2 daughter’s, Tammy Hernandez (Richard Chiles), Midland City;  Katheryn Gaskin, Derby, Ks.; 2 son’s, Paul Allen Gaskin (Odessa) and Benjamin Lee Gaskin, both of Derby, Ks.; 2 sister’s, Jewonia White (Terry), Dothan; Pamela Allen ( Patrick), Tallassee, Al.; 2 brother’s, Glen Watson (Debbie), Jacksonville, Fl.; John Watson (Lois), Jacksonville, N.C.; 7 grandchildren
