Mr. Danny Lee Sellers of Slocomb passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013.  He was 61.

Memorial services will be held in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday with cremation to follow and with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. continuing until service time.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sellers family, P.O. Box, 317, Slocomb, AL  36375.

Danny was born April 3, 1951 in Slocomb, Alabama to the late Thomas Felton and Dorothy Disher Sellers.  He worked as a mechanic for many years and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide and Miami Dolphin football fan.  

Survivors include his children:  Kimberly Sellers Thomas (Ralph), and Andy Miller both of  Slocomb, Michelle Sellers Shaver (Les) of Porum, OK, Danniele Sellers and Krista Sellers (Randall) both of Slocomb; the mother of his two youngest children:  Kay Sellers Spalding of Slocomb; sister:  Mary Southern of Dothan; brothers:  Jerry Sellers and Gerald Sellers both of Slocomb; grandchildren:  Angela Grace Dannyelle Vincent, Hunter Shaver (Amanda), Kylee Shaver, Colton Shaver, Megan Cassady, Kayla Miller, Drew Miller, Travis Kelly, Ashleigh Thomas, Julianne Thomas and Cai Ashley Parks; great grandchildren:  Brayden Hughen and Ruger Shaver; several nieces and nephews.
