Mr. Donald Clarence Jordan, age 85, passed away at SEAMC on Sunday, August 14, 2016.

 

Don was born in California, on April 26, 1931, to the late Clarence Henry Jordan and Elenora Cook. Mr. Jordan was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He served his country in the USMC; he was a craftsman who enjoyed doing wood work; as a hobby, Mr. Jordan liked playing golf.

 

Besides his parents, Mr. Jordan is preceded in death by his first wife, Minnie Jewell Jordan and second wife, Barbara Jordan; and son, Steve Jordan.

 

Don is survived by his daughters, Peggy Jewell of Dothan, Mae Wilson (Christie) of CA; sons, Don Jordan (Margaret) of CA, Gary Jordan (Lori) of CA.; 19 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 20, 2016 in the chapel of Ward Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 6 – 8 PM.

 

The family will be accepting flowers.
