Donald Ray Matthews, a resident of Ozark, died Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 66.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Matthews was born September 13, 1949 to Hosea and Eleanor Dawkins Matthews. Following high school in Ozark, he joined the United States Army and served his country during two tours of Vietnam. Mr. Matthews later owned and operated Southern Cycle Supply in Dothan and was a founding member of Freespirit Bikers Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Obiorah and her husband, Ifeanyi, Raena Matthews; son, Aaren Matthews; two grandsons, David Brown and Orlando R. Laster.
