Mr. Edward Etheridge, age 90, of Midland City passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015.



Born October 31, 1924 in Houston County to the late Richard M. and Eva B. Hammock Etheridge, he was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He worked at Dolly Madison Furniture in Napier Field and at GFA Truck Lines in Dothan.



In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Blondell Etheridge; two brothers, Earl Thomas Etheridge and Richard B. Etheridge; and a nephew, Michael Whiddon.



Survivors include his brother, Foy Ray Etheridge; his sisters, Irene Whiddon and Nell Paramore; his nieces, Marilyn (Howard) Woodham and Gloria (Daryl) Simpson; his nephew, Tim (Carol) Paramore; his sister-in-law, Mary Etheridge Moyer; special friends, Chick (Cindy) Gary and Bo (Lisa) Paramore; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.



Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Edenfield officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 PM until 1:30 P.M. Saturday, January 10, 2015.



The family will be accepting flowers.
