Elvie Matthews Routley of Enterprise, AL passed away, Monday, March 11, 2013 in Kelley Place.  He was 76.


           Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. ,Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Matt Albritton, Rev. Ronald Ball and Rev. Glenn Crumpler officiating.  Burial will follow in Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 13th,  from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.  Memorials may be made to:  Southern Care Hospice, 2576 Montgomery Hwy., Suite 2, Dothan, AL 36303.


           Mr. Routley was an ordained minister with Assembly of God for 44 years  and served at Opine Assembly of God for 30 years.  He retired from Enterprise School System after 25 years as an Electrical Instructor.  He served in the military for 11 years.


           Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Margaret Elizabeth Routley; his children, Hugh Matthews (Matt) Routley (Marsha); Brenda Routley Goodyear (Kevin); grandchildren, Sara Elizabeth Routley Slawson (Brent); Rebecca Allyse Routley; Kristie Lee Goodyear; Brandon Goodyear; sisters, Helen Relish, Wisconsin; Linda, Colorado; Mildred, North Carolina; brothers, Raymond Routley, IL; Curtis Routley, Mississippi.


          The family of Mr. Routley would like to express their gratitude to Kelley Place and Southern Care Hospice for their concern and wonderful care.
