Mr. Gerald Orville Loucks, age 69, of Daleville, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at his home.  Funeral services will be 3:00 P. M. Sunday, July 28, 2013 in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with United States Army Chaplain officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery with full Military Honors, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 4:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M.  Mr. Loucks was born June 11, 1944 in Altoona, PA to the late Orville and Geraldine Cashman Loucks.  He served in the United States Army until his retirement in 1991, serving is Viet Nam, Korea, and Germany.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Chu Nyo Loucks; and one brother, Raymond Cashman. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette McCarthy Loucks of Daleville; one son, Gerald Robert Loucks of Hollidaysburg, PA; two sisters, Judy Hale and Geraldine Dillon of Altoona, PA; one brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Edna Loucks of Manheim, PA; two step-sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Amy McCarthy of Madison, AL, Ashley and Tina Bolton of Huntsville, AL; one step-daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Ron Sherdel of Boonsboro, MD; six grandchildren, Paige Bolton, Austin Bolton, Jennifer Sherdel, Matt Sherdel, Charles McCarthy, and Chelsea McCarthy.
