Mr. G.M. Toole of Geneva passed away at Wiregrass Medical Center on Saturday, April 5, 2014.  He was 76.  A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the Geneva First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Scott Crooms and Rev. David Owens officiating.

Mr. Toole was born in Holmes County, Fla. on October 29, 1937 to the late George Monroe Toole, Sr. and Lucille Cook Toole.  He was a horticulturist who worked in the landscaping business for many years prior to his retirement.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Monette Johnson Curry; grandson, Master Andrew James Toole; great granddaughter, Maddison Allie Richardson; sister, Dorothy Jean Simmons; and a brother, Colmer Toole.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Toole of Geneva; eight children, Marvin Monroe Toole, Sally Nanette Toole, both of Geneva, Patricia Lillian Smith of Ocala, Fla., Harley Eugene Toole of Bellview, Fla., Suanna Mae Peters, and her husband, Kenny of Pell City, Ala., Jodie Jean Helmes, and her husband, Donnie, Lucille Christina Tamijean “Luci” King and her husband, Kevin, and Charley Eugene Toole, all of Geneva; five siblings, G.C. Toole, Bobie Jack Toole, George Toole, Jr., Voncille Mancile and Carolyn Sue Russell; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
