Mr. Irby Rex Danford of Gallatin, TN passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013. He was 65.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, April 12, 2013, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Jim Tate and Rick Glenn officiating.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Friday, April 12, 2013, one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted. At other times, the family will be gathered at 29 Wicker Rd, Cowarts, AL.

 

Mr. Danford was a Chief Petty Officer and a Navy veteran. He loved Braves Baseball, Alabama Football. He loved his family, especially his grandson.

 

He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Danford, step-father, Raymond Walters, and great-grandparents.

 

Survivors include his mother, Imogene Walters of Dothan; sons, Corey Danford and his wife, Dianna of Dothan; Jason Danford and his wife, Sabrina of Dothan; sister, Gloria Barlow and her husband, Mel of Cowarts; brother, Stanley Walters of Dothan; one grandson, Javen Danford, one niece, and two nephews.
