Mr. Jack Michael McKenna of Dothan passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015 at his residence. He was 66.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, April 15, 2015, one hour prior to the service.

Mr. McKenna was retired from the Civil Service. He served in the Marine Corp in Vietnam and served a tour at the Whitehouse with President Nixon as Nixon’s Guard and with President Johnson. He also served in the Army National Guard, Dothan Police Department and the DEA in Montgomery. He was a member of the Cherokee Indian Tribe.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy McKenna and Nita Marney and nephew Michael Crossman.

Survivors include wife Sarah McKenna of Dothan; sons Eric McKenna (Melinda) of Pinkard; Andrew McKenna and fiancé Alicio of Dothan; sisters Judi Atkins (Bill) of West Virginia; Jill Whitehurst (Lance) of Dothan; and two grandchildren Whitney and Rosie McKenna of Pinkard; nephews , Daniel Crossman, Chris Whitehurst, and Jeremy Whitehurst.
