Mr. James Alton Croom, 86, of Pansey, AL , passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at his home.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, March 29, 2013, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Coley M. Holloway officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Friday, March 29, 2013, one hour prior to the service.

 

Survivors include his wife, Annie L. Croom, sons, James Allen Crooms (Nancy), Sammy Croom, daughter, Janice Shirah (Donald), sister, Katherine Lay, grandson, Adam Crooms, granddaughters, Amy Savell, Karen Scott (Justin), Stacey Shirah, great-grandson, Tyler Crooms, great-granddaughters, Hannah Scott, Makayla Scott, and several nieces and nephews.
