Mr. James “Bo” Lonnie Sheffield, age 48,  a resident of Wicksburg, died Friday September 26, 2014 at Flowers Hospital following an extended illness. 


Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday September 30, 2014 at the Bethel Baptist Church (Co.Rd. 69 N. near Hartford) with Rev. Terry Glover officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Kendall Glover directing. 


The family will be receiving friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the church.  At other times the family will be at the home of his parents, James & Sylvia Sheffield, 938 Wicksburg Rd. in Wicksburg.  Flowers will be accepted. 


Mr. Sheffield was born on April 29, 1966 in Dothan the son of James Clemmie Sheffield and Sylvia Lavetia Glover Sheffield.  He was co-owner of Wicksburg Truck & Equipment Repair and he was a member of Bethel Baptist Church near Hartford. 


He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hubert & Geraldine Glover; Sallie Mae & Junior Brackins and Mr. Clemmie Sheffield; two uncles, Alexzine Glover & Melvin Sheffield. 


Survivors include: wife of 18 years, Kelly Sheffield, Wicksburg; son, Myles Whitaker, Wicksburg; parents, James & Sylvia Sheffield, Wicksburg; sister, Jessica Andrews (Robbie), Ashford; grandchildren, Riley Grace Sherlin, Texas; Madison Abigail Whitaker, Hartford; niece, Laykin Adams, Ashford; nephew, Conner Hallford, Ashford; several aunts, uncles, cousins & friends; Special thank you to the Southern Care Hospice Family.
