Mr. James Forrester McInnish, age 84, a resident of Cowarts, died Saturday April 2, 2016 at his residence after an extended illness.

Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday April 4, 2016 at the Cowarts Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Ricky Plummer officiating and Kendall Glover directing.

The family will be receiving friends at the cemetery following the services.  In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to be made to one’s favorite charity.

Mr. McInnish was born on June 2, 1931 in Cowarts the son of James Herman McInnish and Zemma Lee Forrester McInnish.  He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and was retired as office manager with Brewton Materials.  Mr. McInnish was a graduate of Ashford High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter.

Survivors include: wife, Eva Herrington McInnish; 2 sons, 1 daughter, 1 sister, 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
