Mr. James Franklin Hall of Dothan passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Westside Terrace. He was 86.


 


Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Ross and Rev. Tommy White officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.


 


The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Pathway Baptist Church Building Fund, 3551 Flowers Chapel Rd. Dothan, AL 36305.


 


Mr. Hall was born on Sept. 9, 1926 in Midland City, to the late William (Bill) Alexander and Tellie Hall. He was a member of Pathway Baptist Church.


 


His wife, Mary Nell Askew Hall, one sister, Merline Hall and two brothers: Eddie Hall and Burle Hall preceded him in death.


 


Survivors include four children: Barbara Hall, Dothan, Carolyn Padgett, Wicksburg, Steve (Stephanie), Dothan and Jerry Hall; two sisters: Nettie V. Gilley and Lottie Mae Hulon, both of Dothan; one brother, Earl Hall, Ashford; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and one great- great grandchild.
