Mr. Jerald Daniel Scarbrough, of Dothan, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015. He was 76.
Born August 17, 1939 in Panama City, Florida to the late Jim and Cloye Hughes Scarbrough, Mr. Scarbrough was a member of Rainbow Meadows Baptist Church.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Herbert Scarbrough.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Scarbrough; his daughter, Karen Scarbrough; his sons, Danny Scarbrough, Keith Scarbrough, and Kevin (Ginger) Scarbrough; his sister, Audrey Williams; his brother, George Leon (Debra) Scarbrough; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Philip Harrelson and Chaplain Phillip Durr officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM Tuesday, September 15, 2015.
Serving as active pallbearers will be John Earl Trammell, Scott Brown, Larry Martin, Nathan Hodges, Richard Gable, and Doug Smith.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Randy Tice, Johnny Bryan, Charles Morrow, Truette Thomas, and Chris Braxton.
The family will be accepting flowers.
