Jerry Dabney, a resident of Dothan, died Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at his residence. He was 68.

Graveside services for Mr. Dabney will be held at 2 PM (EDT), Thursday, October 17, 2013 at White Church in Woodville, Florida with Southern Heritage directing. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Dabney was born October 31, 1944 in Tallahassee, Florida to William Jennings and Katie Smith Dabney. He relocated to Dothan and worked for many years with Buffalo Rock. Mr. Dabney enjoyed fishing, junking and yard work.

Mr. Dabney is preceded in death by a son, Dewayne Dabney.

Survivors include a daughter, Tina Dabney, Dothan; two sons, Dennis and Crystal Dabney, Tony and Mikelyn Dabney, all of Dothan; fourteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; mother of his children, Beverly Curry; six sisters and five brothers.
